Discussion Intercultural Communication People those who are Intercultural sensitive have a wide outlook things, they can very maturely understand the feelings and emotions of other people, empathize with them, and even respect their thinking, this allows a broader concept of the environment and also helps in understanding the people in terms of their needs, motivation, which is a very complex task. Having people from different ethnic background will give the organization an opportunity to look into a variety of ideas, given by the employees different ethnic background, therefore intercultural communication is very important for a organizations growth (Schnackenberg and Tomlinson 2016). Intercultural insensitive factors of the organization as per the interviewee were , that some of staffs discouraged to communicate to people who were not of their ethnic background. There were interactions limited to work, which is not good for the organization, for team building as well as creating a healthy work environment for people of different ethnic background (Chaney and Martin 2013). Presentation and Persuasion Persuasion is influencing people to get things done which would not have been done, persuasion is usually done with logical arguments and reasoning, shouting, debating, threatening and using ones power to persuade others is a very wrong method of persuasion. The arguments should be very logical so that the customers happily get persuaded. Presentation is a way of communication, traditional methods involves lectures, use of charts, modern methods involve the use of audio visual techniques for presentation, which are very effective for the communication purpose, it makes the boring training sessions, or seminars interesting and the message can be communicated very effectively (Brezina and Smith 2017). Trust and Conflicts Trusts play a very important role, the employees in the organization trusted and supported their employer, the employer also trusted and supported his or her employees, and this created a healthy employee employer relation in the organization. Customers also trust on the product and service they are provided, and hence the organization was successful in creating a goodwill in the market, it is the duty of the organization to gain the trust of its customers if it wants to stay in the market for long term. Whenever there were trust and conflict issues in the organization, proper reasons were given to persuade the customers, so that the trust of the employees does not break, and the organization succeeded in its endeavours (Jarratt and Ceric 2015). Meetings Meetings are the events were important and crucial matters related to the organization are discussed. It allows communication between the employees and employer, in the organization according to the interviewee, the meetings conducted are for knowing the companys progress, work related problems are discussed and recommendations are also given, all the employees are encouraged to give their suggestions and participate in the discussions of the organization (Neuliep 2017). Recommendations The main problem in the organization was the in its intercultural communication where some of the employees avoided to interact with employees with a different ethnic background from them. The organization should conduct sessions, organize events where the employees can interact and get to know each other, so that the employees interaction does not restrict up to tasks, this will be beneficial for building a healthy environment in the organization. Conclusion It can be concluded that intercultural communication plays a very important role in an organization for its growth, not just in monetary terms but also in terms of building a good and healthy relationship between employees, conflict issues cannot be avoided but definitely can be resolved by using effective ways of persuasion that involves logical reasoning.
